The Introduction to "The Parallel Earth" by Syed Muhammed Qasim Hassan Rizvi

The Parallel Earth is a Sci-Fi Fantasy novel, written by a 15 year-old, Syed Qasim Hassan. The author of this book was only fourteen when he started writng the novel and inside a space of just six months he had completed his book! This book was published by KIDZINE International in collaboration with The Parallel Earth Foundation; a foundation started by the author himself, in a struggle to make our Earth a better place just like the Parallel Earth.🌏

WHAT'S THIS BOOK ABOUT?

As you've read earlier, The Parallel Earth is a Sci-Fi Fantasy novel. It's a story of a thirteen year-old 'science-aholic' boy named Zeus. Zeus' idol is none other than the "Man who invented the 20th century"-Nikola Tesla! He wanted to be a great scientist who could help the mankind just like him. But there was a slight drawback, Zeus didn't come from a wealthy background, rather a humble one who hardly made the two ends meet. The family couldn't afford the different books he wanted to study or different things he required to perform an experiment. It wasn't until he entered in a Nikola Tesla Test, in which candidates from all around the world would appear. The winner would get a handsome amount of money and a ticket to the sealed Nikola Tesla Lab. Zeus, against all odds gets the first position despite his father being hit by a truck three days before the exam and other obstacles. When he gets to New York and gets into the Tesla Lab, he somehow manages to get into the Parallel Earth Machine! He operates it as the instruction manual was inside the machine and goes to the Parallel Earth. When he gets there he notices that everything is much better and peaceful there. He makes two friends on the way; Qasim and Clara. The antagonist of this story is actually the Parallel copy of Zeus himself; Suez who destroys Zeus' machine and he is stuck in the Parallel Earth but with the help of his friends and the more than helping people of the Parallel, he goes back to his Earth and even forms a bridge between the two Earths and people can actually travel from one Earth to the other!

MAIN CHARACTERS OF THE BOOK

Zeus- a thirteen year-old boy from Cairo, Egypt 

Qasim- the parallel copy of the author of this book, who lives in the Parallel Earth

Clara- cousin of Suez, who happens to be kind-hearted and becomes the part of Zeus and Qasim

Suez- parallel copy of Zeus, a business-minded spoiled brat who tries his everything to trap Zeus in the Parallel Earth

Daniel Arthur- the mayor, who helps Zeus get back to his earth
